Wylt [7.45pm – 8.05pm]
Bringing a mix of mellow, moody, melancholy and at times harsh driven layers throughout their tracks, Wylt are a band who exude equal measures of depth and energy. Evoking emotions instrumentally alongside light additions of vocals, their music is recognisable by changing dynamics, tempos and time signatures, all of which helps express their feelings when telling stories through sound. Cited in Matt Bull’s Substack, Recent and Decent, Wylt have been described as, “post-rock, sculpting out sonic atmospheres that feel simultaneously apocalyptic and glorious, like Mogwai on steroids. Listening to them pumps blood and rattles bones in the best way possible”.

Eezy [8.20pm – 8.40pm]
Eezy uses music as his primary lens to engage with the world both socially and politically. Notably seen when he ran for a campus officer position at UEA by recreating iconic rap album covers for his campaign. His musical journey began two years ago with the release of “Dutchie,” a track featuring a distinctive saxophone loop that he developed through collaborative studio experimentation. His live sets are highly collaborative, often featuring the Pink Serene, the Velvetones, and guest musicians like the violinist Iris. In the studio, Eezy is a dedicated “grinder” who frequently works with a close-knit team, including the producer Visceral and engineer Andre De. You can expect a diverse range of tracks, from the smooth sounds of “Cost of Love” to the high-energy “Rockstar”.

Dazar [8.50pm – 9.10pm]
A genre blending jazz rapper, that blends his roots of hip-hop, afrobeats, Gospel and Jazz to create something never seen before. He describes his art as “God given expressions to voice what you can’t speak”.

The Aide [9.30pm – 9.50pm]
The Aide are a post-nonsense four piece ensemble from Norwich. Guitar driven post punk-noise-art-emo hogwash; angular, finicky, and passionate.

Jaded Teeth [10.10pm – 10.30pm]
Jaded Teeth are an indie-folk/americana band stemming from Suffolk. Lyricist and singer Indigo Spooner paired with guitarist and composer Jack Stanton tell stories of heartbreak, religion and childhood – their newest single ‘Lamb’ being a metaphor for nurturing your inner child and letting go of the past. Covered by Backseat Mafia, the duo are described in the following way: “Vocalist Indigo Spooner and guitarist Jack Stanton, whose synergy brings to life stories of growth, self-reflection, and emotional upheaval. Musically bringing a rich guitar led soundscape which touches on elements of indie-folk and country, the bands create a warming and elegant sound. Topped with a heartfelt vocal delivery and beautifully placed harmonies, the track’s melancholic lyricism is matched by the intimate delivery.”
